Hello, I ride a 2007 V-Star 1300 and I love my bike. The only complaint I have regarding the machine is the fact that the gas tank is listed as holding 4.9 gal (4 gal with a .9 reserve) yet everytime my idiot light comes on I can only put apporiximately 3 gal (usualy just a bit over) into the tank The Mobil-1 15W50 oil is a great all around oil for the BMW boxers & you really can't go wrong with that. Personally, if I had a 68,000 mile 1100RT & lived in Vegas I would run 20W50 Mobil-1 V twin. That is just a bit better than the M-1 15W50 in extreme heat areas. Link to comment. chrisolson 1.
